Mazatlan-. The Directorate of Public Services removed 16.8 tons of garbage, weeds, and debris from the canal that runs along Las Torres Avenue, from Rafael Buelna to the Lucio Blanco road, through the campaign “In the rainy season, let the water flows”, reported David Ibarra Olmeda.
The head of the agency stressed that during the cleaning days that began on May 14 in different areas of the port, they have collected 298.5 tons of garbage. In this activity, 75 workers from different departments of the management, dump trucks and heavy machinery support to provide greater coverage in the scheduled work that they carry out along with the removal of debris and the pruning of trees and palm trees, since the season of rain has started.
He specified that on the instructions of Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres, this activity is permanent throughout the year in different sectors of the city, therefore, next Friday the route contemplated is José María Pino Suárez street and Plan de San Luis, in the settlement Pine Suarez.
