Mazatlan. – This Thursday, within the framework of the sixteenth ordinary session of the Cabildo, the body of councilors of Mazatlan approved the extension of regular hours of alcohol licenses for businesses dedicated to the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages during the months of July, August and September.

It was the Coordinator of the Tourism and Trade Commission, María Ester Juárez Nelson, who asked the city council secretary, Edgar González, who was representing the mayor, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, to present the point of agreement on this issue.

The extension of regular hours for the sale and consumption of alcohol is sought in July and August and September, he requested.

In addition, he warned that businesses that increase sales and consumption hours will have to submit an application, which will have to adhere to what is established, such as being regularized in their payments, and permits, among other things.

Regarding businesses or premises that are not in the tourist area, they must adhere to current regulations, however, if they wish to extend hours, it is necessary to go to the Mayor’s Office to learn more about the subject.
