Video: Festival Pa’ la papa 2022 begins in Los Mochis
Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- The Festival Pa’ la papa 2022, a gastronomic, cultural, and agricultural event, successfully opened this Saturday in Los Mochis.
Gildardo González Saldívar, president of the Association of Potato Producers in Los Mochis, was in charge of making the opening of the event official and was accompanied by the Secretaries of Economy and Tourism of Ahome.
González Saldívar acknowledged that this event, which is being organized for the fifth time and, although free, allows the visibility and recognition of the potato, a star agricultural product, which, thanks to the land of the region, enjoys excellent flavor and quality.
“The truth is that this fifth edition has been a complete success, it has been carried out with all the prevention protocols, we must continue to take care of ourselves, and all the assistance we are receiving, the truth is, we are very happy and they too, they were waiting for this moment , this festival”, said Gildardo González.
In addition, he added that this traditional event has 43 participating companies and 14 restaurants that will be selling and offering tastings to visitors this Saturday and Sunday.
He urged families to attend the Pa’ la Papa Festival, which is located throughout Ignacio Zaragoza Street, from Rosendo G. Castro Boulevard to Miguel Hidalgo Street, in downtown Los Mochis.
