Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- From this Saturday, the Mazatlán lighthouse will again be open to the public from 06:00 hours, once Civil Protection removes the suspension stamps that had been placed the previous week.
Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, Coordinator of this corporation, led this afternoon a new tour of the Cerro del Crestón, where he verified compliance with the main recommendations issued, with which timely attention is guaranteed to tourists, athletes, or citizens who have any difficulty derived from the ascent to the top.
“They have already made part of the adjustments that we ask of them. That gives us peace of mind that they are committed to continue working, with prevention activities, and therefore tomorrow, the lighthouse will resume its normal activities from 5 am in the morning to 6:45 PM, “he said.
He said that there will be a recovery area and medical care in the middle of the journey. In this space, they will have all the emergency medical services necessary to provide first care.
During the tour attended by Raquel Briseño, who is president of the Board of Trustees of the Faro Mazatlán Natural Park and Francisco Chavez, manager of the place, the placement of signage in the roundabouts was verified, as well as the delimitation of areas in the part near the viewpoint of crystal.
The lighthouse has a height of 1.2 kilometers of ascent, of which, 746 meters are of ramp in addition to 336 steps
