The visit of the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador officially to the port is almost a fact, said Luis Guillermo Benítez Torrez, in his Civic Monday speech at the Primary, Melchor Ocampo.
The municipal mayor said that he promised to come in two weeks so it will be used to lay the first stone of what will be the new Aquarium.
“We are going to meet to present an agenda to the President of Mexico to include in the laying of the first stone of the Aquarium, but to have, if possible, a longer agenda,” he said.
Another of the options announced by the chemist Benítez, is a possible visit by Andrés Manuel López Obrador to the Historical Center to get to know him.
ASK FOR TECHUMBRE IN SCHOOL
In relation to civic events, students from Melchor Ocampo Elementary School, asked the first mayor to build a roof so as not to be suffering from the sun’s rays and the rains.
“I am with you and we do everything possible so that you never miss anything, we will never neglect you, we will always be aware of your needs, so I ask you to have direct communication,” he told the attendees.
At the end of the event, recognition diplomas and medals were awarded to outstanding children in learning and sports by IMDEM.
