Mazatlan showcased on digital platform “Visit Mexico”

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In the presence of the Ministry of Tourism and representatives of the tourism sector of Sinaloa, the Tourism Promotion and Digitalization Strategy of the country was officially presented, which will operate through the integral digital platform Visit Mexico as a vehicle for digital promotion for state and municipal governments, as well as for all participants in the tourism industry nationally and internationally.

The Secretary of Tourism, Óscar Pérez Barros, stressed the importance of being set in Sinaloa, to take us as an example to be the entity in which this digital strategy is presented that we will use to promote.

We can say that we are the pioneers in the first steps that the platform that now comes to promote in a different way to our country, and we will take advantage to make use of all the opportunities that arise in their spaces to publicize everything we have here. We are very happy that Visit Mexico comes to make an alliance with us, that they know that in Sinaloa we are doing positive things

For his part, the president of Visit Mexico, Marcos Achar Levy, stressed that Sinaloa has all the opportunities and that he has shown to have a strong business sector, with a governor with a great push, vision and that desire to have Sinaloa on the map world, which gives us pleasure for the Sinaloans.

He added that there will be a site for each state in the country, where you can host information on the attractions and tourist destinations of the municipalities. In addition, a greater number of suppliers, regardless of their size or the area in which they operate, will have at their disposal a site that will be the showcase to offer products and services digitally.

The platform will be a self-financing digital ecosystem with all the services, sectors and information required to make an effective and innovative digital tourism promotion, as well as a site for all entities, where information on tourist attractions and destinations will be of the municipalities and will provide a greater number of suppliers as a showcase to offer products and services digitally, both for national and international tourism
