Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Three days left for the start of the International Carnival of Mazatlan 2019, and hoteliers report occupancy of 95 percent. The Carnival will be held from Thursday, February 28 to Tuesday, March 5. The days that will be at 100 percent the hotels on Del Mar Avenue are the Saturday of Bad Humor and on Sunday, for the first parade.
The municipal president Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres stressed that the information from the tourism sector is that they will be almost full depending in the day.
He added that almost everything is ready for the carnival, which will begin with the coronation of the king on Thursday. Friday and Saturday will be celebrated the coronations of the queens of the Floral Games and the Carnival respectively, to continue with the first parade on Sunday, which will surprise and catch the audience.
On Monday, March 4 will follow the coronation of the child sovereign and on Tuesday with the second parade, and every day, great party at Olas Altas.
Owners and managers of hotels ensure that visitors from nearby states book for almost every day of the carnival, but those from more distant entities, such as Mexico City, Chihuahua, Monterrey and Coahuila, rent at least Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Condition
Tourists say that due to the demand that there are rooms for these days, but they condition the minimum room rent is three days. Several hotels have instituted this policy.
