From January to April, 29 events are scheduled in Mazatlán, expected to draw around 66,000 people, according to Alfonso Reséndiz Memije, Director of Congresses and Conventions for the Sinaloa Ministry of Tourism.
The official noted that this represents a 10 percent increase in tourism activities compared to last year, and that 2026 holds great promise for tourism and economic benefits for all sectors.
He added that among the scheduled events are the Mazatlán International Carnival, to be held from February 12 to 17, as well as Motorcycle Week and sporting events.
“We have high expectations. In January, we have three important events: the Wine Festival on January 30th and 31st, and the Coppel Convention from January 30th to February 1st. In sporting events, we have the Gran Fondo Mazatlán on February 8th, the Mazatlán Half Marathon on March 7th, and Salsafest from March 13th to 15th.”
Reséndiz Memije added that they hope to complete all these activities in the first four months of the year in order to thoroughly plan and finalize the activities for the second quarter.
The Director of Congresses and Conventions for the Sinaloa Tourism Secretariat emphasized that this entire calendar of events is fully confirmed and there have been no cancellations for any reason.
Finally, he commented that the Tourism Secretariat is committed to continuing this dynamic of activities so that Mazatlán can further solidify its position as the leading beach tourism destination in the northwest region of the country.
