Business robbery continues unstoppable in the city of Mazatlán.
This Thursday afternoon, two cases were registered that add to the statistics that have been on the rise for a month.
According to the information obtained, at 4:50 p.m., the person in charge of a beer warehouse located on Pedro Infante and Privada del Muelle streets, in the Benito Juárez neighborhood, reported that a man arrived at the establishment and began to hit her with a piece of metal.
The violent subject stripped her of cash and her cell phone, and then fled.
The woman requested help by calling the emergency numbers. Municipal police officers went to investigate the report and carried out a search operation but failed to arrest anyone.
Twenty minutes later, the report of another violent robbery was made, this time in a self-service store located on La Marina Avenue and Joselito Huerta street, in the El Toreo subdivision.
A subject wearing a face mask and a red cap entered the store pretending to be a customer and went to the checkout area, where he threatened the employee. In his hands he carried a plastic bag, where he emptied the money that was in the cash register.
The assailant wore a gray shirt with a print on the front, black pants and tennis shoes.
With the booty in his hands, he left the store and fled in an unknown direction. Municipal police were also alerted to this robbery, but did not arrest the person responsible.
