MAZATLAN. – There are a few days left until the Mazatlan International Carnival 2023 ‘Dejavú, 125 years of tradition begins and one of the festivities that we cannot miss is the iconic Naval Combat, and for you to get ready here we tell you everything what you need to know about this edition.

More fireworks

The director of the Institute of Culture, Tourism and Art of Mazatlán, Raul Rico González, revealed that for the 125th anniversary 3 tons of fireworks were purchased, in which approximately 800 thousand pesos were invested.

This year there will be 800 more kilos of fireworks compared to last year, in which 2.2 tons of fireworks were used. The light show is expected to last 30 minutes instead of the usual 20 minutes.

What time is the Naval Combat?

The show will take place on February 18 at 11:00 p.m., at Olas Altas as the venue.

The authorities expect that the Saturday of the Olas Altas Carnival will have an influx of at least 80 thousand people.

Will they charge for access?

In addition, there will be 11 musical bandstands on the area, where a total of 20 local bands will participate. Remember that this 2023 a recovery fee will be charged, and it will be 70 pesos.
