It is the first time that the National Hip Hop Women’s Festival is held in Mazatlan, within the framework of International Women’s Day

MAZATLAN. – International Women’s Day is approaching and in Mazatlán the first National Women Festival of Hip Hop will take place here, imagine more than 10 women from all over Mexico gathered making rhymes.

It will take place on March 10 from 8:00 p.m. at the Banksy Social Club, but just as its name says, it will be quite a festival, where women who love hip hop will give their best.

Among those confirmed are Yaz Tarelo from Michoacán; Jenny Bee, from Tijuana, Baja California; N Palmz, from Ciudad Obregon, Sonora; Marsh Valley from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon; Sio Noriega and Sky Venegas, from Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

They will have as Host Dj Karely JB; there will also be painting exhibitions by “Monchi Artes”, with Edith Mazarap as a host of.

The presale has a cost of 100 pesos and the day of the event, at the box office, it will have a value of 130 pesos. This event is added to the framework of International Women’s Day.

The inclusive digital world for the UN

The theme for this year’s United Nations for March 8 is “For an inclusive digital world: Innovation and technology for gender equality”, in line with the priority theme of the Sixty-seventh session of the Commission of the Legal and Social Condition of Women.

Under this theme, the UN will explore the effects of the digital gender gap on the growth of social and economic inequalities. It will also highlight the importance of protecting the rights of women and girls in digital spaces and addressing gender-based violence online facilitated by new communication technologies.

It also seeks to incorporate women, as well as those traditionally marginalized groups, into technology that allows for more creative solutions, and greater potential for innovations that meet the needs of women and promote gender equality.
