Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- In surprising news, it has been announced that the Kraken Stadium in Mazatlán could replace the Monterrey Stadium as the venue for the next 2026 Soccer World Cup

According to sources close to FIFA, the Kraken Stadium has been chosen due to its impressive size and capacity to host thousands of soccer fans. In addition, its location on the Mexican Pacific coast makes it an attractive destination for tourists and visitors from all over the world.

For its part, the Mazatlán city council has decided to delegate the necessary logistics work to the State Government and the State Secretary of Tourism, given the exceptional opportunity for economic growth resulting from tourism in the pearl of the Pacific.
