One of the most important Spanish hotel chains in the world has shown interest in the Pearl of the Pacific.

Madrid, Spain.- A very productive meeting was held by the Secretary of Development, Tourism and Fisheries, Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, with Vicente Fenollar Molina, General Economic and Financial Director of the Barceló group, and Ricardo Fernández, Director of Corporate Marketing & Communication of Avoris, where they had the opportunity to present the great economic and tourist growth that Mazatlan has experienced in the last 2 years.

Fenollar Molina was convinced that Mazatlan is a good destination for international hotel chains to invest, since it is a port with great potential, thanks to its different attractions such as beach areas, the Historic Center, and family entertainment centers, among others.

“We are going to see the growth possibilities in Mazatlan, and well, we are very excited to see new projects and continue growing in Mexico. We have a presence in Mexico and we are interested in continuing to grow”, he mentioned.

For his part, Ricardo Fernández, from Avoris Aerolínea Charter Española, highlighted that achieving a connection with the port would be a great opportunity for the Spanish market that is looking for beach destinations in Mexico since Mazatlán is a place that has a lot to offer all over the world.
