The young Mazatleca will swim a route of between 15 and 16 kilometers that will pass through the three islands and the objective is to draw attention to save the “Isla Venados” from contamination

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- SKarlett Villanueva, a young Mazatlan swimmer, invites everyone who wants to join in the cleanup of Venados Island, better known as “La Isla del Medio”, to participate as a volunteer or with financial support. .

“Swimming with a cause, let’s save the Middle Island”, aims to eliminate the pollution that is affecting one of the three islands that are in the port of Mazatlan.

Skarlett Villanueva, is a young woman who from the age of 6 months had the support and training of her father to become an expert swimmer, an action that has led her to participate in various competitions, which have led her to obtain championships within the scoring competitions carried out by the Mazatlan Swimming Committee.

The swim will be on October 30 where the young woman will swim around 15 and 16 km that will start from Playa Brujas, will pass in front of the three islands (Pájaros, Venados, Lobos) until she reaches Olas Altas and this is for drawing the attention of potential sponsors.

On this occasion, they will participate in the clean-up day, a swimmer from the north beach and members of various associations, as well as some sponsor companies in which “Varali Grand Hotel” stands out.
