The Secretary of Public Security, Simón Malpica, reported that 20 people were arrested on the night of September 15 for disturbing public order and going overboard with the independence celebrations. Regarding the two people murdered in the Golden Zone early Thursday morning, he indicated that the Prosecutor’s Office is already investigating.
The police command for the death of these people, denied that there are foreign criminal groups and that the victims were local, already identified.
Commissioner Malpica, in response to journalists, said that the operations and patrols are intensifying in the popular neighborhoods and areas considered to be in conflict where people with stolen units, whether cars or motorcycles have been detained; also apprehended people with firearms.
The head of the SSP said that the breathalyzer continues on weekends and the operation so that motorcyclists wear helmets and do not carry more than three people.
Finally, he reported that the person who disappeared yesterday in the waters of the sea, appeared drowned this morning at the level of the Oceano Palace hotel.
