The governor pointed out that his government has reduced high-impact crimes in the entity in sentences 6 months of management.

Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The public security strategies that the state government has implemented have been better and with greater results than those of the governments of Quirino Ordaz Coppel and Mario López Valdez, assured Governor Rubén Rocha Moya.

The state president defended that his government has managed to reduce high-impact crimes, such is the case of manslaughter and femicide.

The governor said the above after he was questioned about the murder of a man in a Culiacán Taquería and a discovery in a nightclub in the capital city, committed last night.

“Because there are fewer homicides, femicides and because there are fewer car thefts, we have lowered the fundamental rates, that’s why nothing more,” he said.

Despite the fact that the crimes of homicide and femicide have shown a downward trend, Rocha Moya acknowledged that the forced disappearance of people has not had a drop.

However, he assured that this crime has not been ignored in the entity either.

“It is not true that we have grown in disappeared, we have not grown and we have not gone down,” he said.
