The president of Fecanaco acknowledged that with the decrease in cases there was a relaxation in business and the population in general.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Given the increase in cases of Covid-19 in Sinaloa, the organized trade of Sinaloa resumes and rethinks the health protocols to avoid a resurgence of infections.
Miguel Hernández Fonseca, president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in Sinaloa, acknowledged that with the decrease in active cases of coronavirus there was also a relaxation in business and the general population.
“Yes, we are aware that once again we have to harden our approaches in this sense and be the example of a commercial issue so that this continues in a good way,” he said.
He called on the general population and businesses not to lower their guard and once again resume the measures that have given so much in the more than two years of the pandemic, such as vaccination, constant hand washing, face masks, use of antibacterial gel, healthy distance, sanitizing mats, among others.
Hernández Fonseca revealed that last week he held a working meeting on health protocols with the presidents of the Canacos of Los Mochis, Guasave, Guamúchil, Culiacán and Mazatlán.
“We agreed to reinforce the measures in the unionized businesses, to rethink this issue without it being a sensitive issue, but rather a preventive one,” he reiterated.
The Fecanaco leader added that during the meeting the issue of vaccination was also addressed, where 90% of the more than 21 affiliates throughout the state are already vaccinated in their third dose.
“In the case of businesses and the population, we are well protected, according to official data from the Ministry of Health, almost 83% of the population is vaccinated and that makes us feel safer because that is the best measure there is. to be able to count a possible outbreak,” he concluded.
