The president of the Tres Islas Hotel Association highlighted that the arrival of tourism to Mazatlan continues strong on weekends

Mazatllán, Sinaloa.- Hoteliers on Avenida Del Mar in Mazatlan maintain high expectations in the influx of tourists for the summer vacation period, for which an average occupancy of 80% is estimated.

The president of the Tres Islas Hotels Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, assured that on weekends the influx of regional tourists continues, who give an occupation of 70%, and from Monday to Thursday it fluctuates between 45 and 50%.

” From the return to face-to-face classes, there was a drop in tourist arrivals from Monday to Thursday, but summer is coming, where we hope to be at an average 80%,” he said.

Manguart Sánchez revealed that in the next few days the promotion committees will be formed to begin with the actions that normally begin in May, in order to be valid in all markets.

” Right now practically all destinations are already open, like Mazatlan, and it is important to carry out promotion, which is the ‘gasoline’ of any tourist destination, precisely to be among the first five options to travel in the country,” he said.

The hotel manager added that all tourist destinations push hard on the international issue and on air connectivity; In the past Tianguis Turístico, everyone’s effort to make sales was seen.

For this reason, in the following weeks, agreements, rates, updating databases and the content of the web pages must be finalized, in terms of services and areas of opportunity, taking into account the feedback with the buyers, whose suggestions allow making adjustments and be more competitive.

” We are very happy with the role that Mazatlan played in the matter of showing its gastronomy, and magical towns, all of this will contribute to the experience that today’s travelers demand,” he concluded.
