Although the results report will be released this week, the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Rosario Torres Noriega, announced that she had important meetings with international airlines such as WestJet, and American Airlines and national airlines such as VivaAerobus and Volaris.
He added that important things are also coming for the Sea of Cortez project, made up of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Sinaloa, and Nayarit, where in the medium or long term, they could be implementing an internal cruise that runs through the states that are part of this brand.
” We are going to take advantage of the tourist potential that each one of the states has, we are being very careful to have a common agenda for the five states to be able to compete not only nationally, but also internationally,” he said.
Torres Noriega mentioned that Mazatlan worked as an anchor to promote the other municipalities, as an alternative to visit while they have their stay in the port.
“ Mazatlán, obviously, is the anchor by itself, but taking advantage of the fact that it is the anchor, we work and promote what is around us, that is where we come in and work with travel agencies and, above all, promote the routes that we need ”, express.

The head of the Sectur pointed out that the trend is that the tourist expects something more than sitting on the beach, he seeks to walk, learn, eat, take pictures full of history, in cobbled alleys, old facades, culture, traditions; and that the Magic Towns have it.
