A child saves a tourist from drowning at Isla de Venados in Mazatlan

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- A video that has begun to circulate where it is mentioned that a boy rescues a tourist from the sea on the beaches of Isla de Venados in Mazatlán has gone viral due to the great courage and feat of the minor.

At just 10 years old, Ian Gabriel Vázquez, the minor reported that he saw the lady on the shore near a safe area and that from one moment to another the current took her out to sea.

“I saw that she did not come out and I went for her, she was already submerged under the water and I managed to get her out, the lady could not stand up and more people helped me to get her out and lay her down on the sand,” said the boy.

The little hero who was interviewed by a citizen after realizing the great feat he did.

With signs of tiredness, little Ian can be seen in the video, who is now a hero at his young age.

In a video on the Twitter account of biologist Carmen Gutiérrez, the minor was thanked for the way he acted and many people call him a hero.

In the images it is not disclosed if the minor is a resident, it is only mentioned that the rescue occurred on Isla Venados, one of the three islands in front of the Mazatlán tourist area.
