Mazatlan.- The Mazatlán City Council reinforced its municipal transit personnel assigned to the Capta group with two vehicles that can chase sports cars that circulate along the coastal area and sometimes at high speeds, which ended up fleeing, because the agents could not reach them. In addition, the Transit Subdirectorate received one more unit.
Mayor Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres reported that the three units were assigned by the Tax Administration Service (SATES) and will be assigned to specific areas of the city .
He assured that he went to knock on doors with public officials and thus they managed to assign vehicles that will be of great use to the city.

“Because this is an assignment, we are not buying, we are not inaugurating, we are not doing any promotion, he made it very clear, then, this assignment of patrols is directed to the Tourist Attention and Protection Center, which is better known as CAPTA, but which plays a very important role in the main economic activity of the city, which is tourism”, explained the Municipal President.

He reported that the donated units are a 2008 Ford Mustang; a Dodge Challenger, model 2014, and a Nissan Sentra model 2018, which will be used by the Municipal Traffic Police, and to condition them, the City Council invested almost 100 thousand pesos.
