MAZATLAN. – If you are a lover of the world that surrounds manga and anime, this is your opportunity to meet others who are also fans like you at the Pacific Cosplay Cup 2022, which is about to take place on April 16 and 17, in the Lions Club.
The theme that was scheduled for 2020 was “Gods and Monsters”, however, due to the pandemic, the event was postponed and was resumed until 2022 with a view to carrying it out with all health protocols.
The Cosplay Cup aims to serve as an interstate cosplay contest of the different cities of the Mexican Pacific Northwest.
Among the states covered are Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Sonora, Sinaloa, Durango, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Jalisco, Colima and Tamaulipas.
The main idea is the costume or performance contest. It consists of an entire cosplayer talent exhibition gala, where the qualities that every good fan should possess will be highlighted at all times.
What will there be?
In addition to the contest, the organizers launch workshops, conferences, exhibitions, a gastronomic area, auctions and collections; They will also have musical shows, special guests, beach activities, and gatherings.
They still do not have a defined cost for the tickets, since everything will depend on the behavior of the pandemic for the following days, in addition to confirming with the corresponding permits because it is a massive event.
