Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Mazatlán is in force in the preferences of the shipping companies that commercialize cruises through the world’s oceans, an example of this is that they will continue in the remainder of January, where they expect 11 to arrive, said Juan José Ruiz González.

The director of Special Projects of the Secretariat of Tourism in Sinaloa pointed out that they work in coordination with the Florida and Caribbean Cruise Association, and with each of the cruise lines to guarantee that the health security protocols are still applied with the same rigor as they have been applied in this industry worldwide.

“In the first part of the month we had a couple of cancellations of arrivals, this, due to the increase that occurred in the first days of the month with the theme of the Omicron variant, however, cruise ships have continued to arrive, including Norwegian, which had announced cancellations on other routes, it maintains its arrivals in the Pacific and then cruises will continue to arrive in Mazatlán all month, we hope to close with 11 arrivals for Mazatlán ”.

This Wednesday one more cruise ship with 1,077 passengers and 876 crew members docked at the port. The boat came from Los Cabos, to continue to Puerto Vallarta.
