With the arrival of cruise ships to the port, the demand for services of this means of transport is benefited

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- José Luis Ceballos Bustamante, president of the Cooperativa de Pulmonías de Mazatlán, pointed out that with the arrival of cruise ships to the port, the demand for services of this means of transport is benefited, which is currently at 70%.

He added that Mondays and Tuesdays are the days with the least demand, hence several operators do not even work on those days. Starting on Wednesday, when the cruise ships arrive and especially on weekends when road tourism arrives, that’s when activity picks up.

“All last week it was super good on the bridge, it was crazy, it went up to 100%. During the week it goes down on Monday and Tuesday, from Wednesday and Sunday we are doing super well,” he added.

In percentage, during the week they are working at 70% with increases from Friday to Sunday.

With this good outlook, it is envisaged that between now and the end of the year there will be constant work since in the remainder of November there are still six cruise ship arrivals and another 33 more for the month of December.
