The party is set! Expocanaco 2021 kicks off in Mazatlan

The maximum celebration of organized commerce of the Port is back this year, after the social paralysis that was experienced in 2021 by the COVID19 pandemic

Mazatlán, Sinaloa._ The Expocanaco 2021 in Mazatlán, in its thirty-sixth edition, started this Saturday night with the participation of 150 stands of one hundred companies.

Roberto Lem González, president of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in Mazatlan, stressed that this edition is a challenge for the sectors to offer their products and training, where the party is back after a difficult and complicated year by the COVID-19.

Felipe Ibarra Retamoza, Undersecretary of Economic Development in Sinaloa, said that the Expocanaco is a good opportunity to reactivate and where Mazatlán sets the example, with sanitary measures, where this meeting will bring benefits and generate a space for recreation in these times.

On behalf of the mayor of Mazatlán, Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas, secretary of the Economy in the municipality, attended, where he recognized this effort by organized commerce to resume traditions and display local products.

The maximum trade festival organized in the port takes place from November 17 to December 13.

The opening of this event was also attended by the Secretary of Tourism, María del Rosario Torres Noriega, and Guillermo Romero Rodriguez, general secretary of Concanaco, as well as members of Canaco.
