Mazatlecos indicated that this month they had received a high charge compared to the previous ones; most were seniors

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Of excessive charges, bad attention, and bad service, several Mazatlecos complained when they went to pay their bill at the Jumapam headquarters this Thursday.

In line they were all formed; those who were going to pay, those who were going to clarification or those who were under contract, so the line advanced very slowly.

Among the users, they commented to each other that this month they had received a high charge compared to the other months, the majority were senior citizens.

“I am a senior citizen and they are charging me as if it were a normal payment, they are charging me double, I have about three months, which is wrong if they already have the data of one”, commented one of the users.

Between the talk, figures ranging from 7,000 to 15,000 pesos are heard, when they commonly received between 87 and 150 pesos.

“My son is a builder, he has started a work for three months, made the contract, he never received a receipt and today they cut off the water that has not been used, plus the reconnection,” said another user.

María came on behalf of her father-in-law, who is a pensioner, to clarify why it had reached her up to 10 times more than it does each month.

“My father-in-law is a pensioner and normally he receives 45 pesos and now almost 500 pesos have come to him and we do not owe anything. It is not the first time that we come here, also last year,” he said.

From fair to bad, they rated the service and attention provided by the municipal government during these three years, especially since more than two months after the passage of hurricanes “Nora” and “Pamela” the “chocolatey” water continues to arrive.
