Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Not only sales of household appliances and basic necessities were the focus of sales during the Good End; Thanks to the fact that it was combined with a long weekend, the tourist activity also obtained profits, informed Roberto Lem González, President of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Mazatlán.

While supervising commercial and tourist activity, the businessman stressed that thanks to the fact that the weekend of November 13 was extended with the public holiday of November 15, added to the fact that the Good End was taking place in the entire national territory, which favored the conditions of perceiving a high rate of hotel reservations and occupancies.

“Apart from being a Good End, it was a long weekend, so in both senses everything that was marketed was added (…) there were many people who on this Good End made their reservations where people buy both the plane and the reservations of hotels in Mazatlán ”, said the businessman.

Lem González pointed out that even the beaches were crowded because in some areas the beach traffic light was kept red, so many people had to find other accesses to the beaches.

“As a tourism sector we had very good acceptance, on the Good End weekend we brought a reservation in occupancy of 60 percent and we also covered very well (the demand), we had around 80 percent in hotel occupancy where some beaches were They were even crowded, there were some areas that we have at the beach traffic light that were keeping the color red, allowing visitors to visit some other beach areas ”, he added.
