Service providers estimate that up to 100% is expected in commerce and services
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- For this long weekend, occupancy in the hotels on Avenida del Mar will register levels of up to 80%, due to the confidence they have in the destination as they are at a green traffic light.
The president of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Miguel Hernández Fonseca estimated that in commerce and services they expect up to 100%.
“For this long weekend that has the expectation continues to rise, we are confident that we will be 80% in hotel occupancy, in shops and services we are confident that we are going to catch peak days, 95 and 100 % in restaurants, bars and organized commerce where there is a very important influx of people who come from the region, ”he said.
He commented that most of the tourists who come to the destination are from Chihuahua, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit and Jalisco.
He recalled that the occupancy in the lodging establishments reached 75% on the Day of the Dead bridge and this weekend could increase for the Good End.
The service providers stated that according to the behavior of recent weeks in tourism, Mazatlán will have a very strong year-end.
