Culiacán, Sinaloa.- A week after the state executive took office, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya has already started with the elimination of privileges for current officials and former officials, as he made it known during the press conference of his first “Week”.

The president explained that so far 33 percent of the services of police escorts to first-level officials and former officials such as governors and secretaries have been eliminated, right there he added that the bodyguards will be reinstated in the security service in the streets.

” More or less at this time 33 percent, the idea is to reduce it even more to all those who had by law or by legal provisions, former governors and officials that the law provides that they must have an escort, we are making a reduction because there were so many, ”he said.

“We need to increase the number of police officers on the street and that they are not after the officials, we are going to make a significant reduction and I want to do one more,” he added.

On the issue of luxury cars used by former Quirino Ordaz cabinet officials, the governor explained that a count of the vehicle fleet is already being carried out and that various actions will be taken accordingly.

“I do not find luxury trucks, I wanted to get on a more improved one, they are from 2017 and we are still doing a review of the vehicle fleet,” he said.
