Sinaloa.- A virtual cemetery, alebrijes, catrinas and a beautiful altar adorned the La Tambora square, in the receivership of Costa Rica, this November 2, Day of the Dead.
The trust group of the receivership first set up this scenario in the space of the old sugar mill , in Las Grúas Park , where the Second Cultural Festival “El reencuentro con la Vida” began .
Juanita Ochoa, trustee of Costa Rica, said that with the support of the group of teachers Ernesto Landeros, this offering was made to the dead for recreation and rescue of Mexican customs and traditions.
“We have put it here for two years, right now around 150 people have come, at this time we are here, but in the course of the day many more people have passed,” he said.
In the square, locals and visitors stopped to take pictures next to the huge catrinas and the altar dedicated to union workers who died this year. The crosses were mounted with photographs of inhabitants of Costa Rica, who died in this pandemic.
