Mazatlan restaurant owners lower their guard when requesting proof of vaccination

Several establishments in downtown Mazatlán have not been complying with requesting the vaccination certificate.

Last month, the mayor of Mazatlán ordered restaurateurs to request a medical certificate from diners when entering shops and closed places, however, these have now relaxed allowing customers to enter without having to show it.

This despite the fact that last week it was announced to businesses that if this measure was not applied it would be cause for reprimand, however, when taking a tour, in some stores in the center of Mazatlán they no longer ask people to show this certified to allow entry, taking only their temperature and offering antibacterial gel.
