“Starting at 7:00 in the morning, we are going to lower costs and stop (the pumps of) the plant to reinstall the screen where the water inlet is, which is the one that cleans all the solids so that nothing reaches the pumps ”, Explained Arturo Valverde Hidalgo, Jumapam Operations Manager.

According to the schedule of the Operations Management, the Los Horcones Water Treatment Plant will stop production from 7:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon of this Wednesday, to make the replacement, and as soon as they finish the installation of the piece, the production of water is reactivated.

The general manager of Jumapam, Luis Gerardo Núñez Gutiérrez, estimated that the supply will be restored around 5:00 in the afternoon in the city, so he calls on the population to take care of the vital liquid even more, and take from today the measures to avoid being affected as little as possible with the stoppage of production.
