Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- As soon as the rains begin, jellyfish begin to appear on the shore of the beach.

The commander of the Mazatlán Aquatic Rescue Squad, Gonzalo Magallanes Romero, stated that this type of marine animal occurs during the summer, and despite the fact that no rains have yet been registered, 15 affected people have already been treated.

He also highlighted that where more cases have occurred are on the beach of Isla de La Piedra, in Playa Camarón, and also in the Pueblo Bonito area.

He also said that more presence of these animals is expected in early July, so there will also be more attention.
