Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The port of Mazatlán is two cases away from returning to the red color at the Covid-19 traffic light by accumulating 10 new cases of coronavirus this Saturday, June 5, and being in the first place of municipalities with more active cases .

The Secretary of Health reported 47 new cases; eight from Ahome, five from Culiacán, five from Guasave, five from El Fuerte, four from El Rosario, three from Salvador Alvarado, three from Choix, two from Escuinapa and two from Navolato.

37 patients were also discharged; 10 from Culiacán, nine from Ahome, six from El Fuerte, four from Mazatlán, four from Navolato, two from Guasave and two from Escuinapa.

Five deaths were recorded; two from Mazatlán, one from Ahome, El Fuerte and Salvador Alvarado, respectively.

Of the 375 active patients in the municipality; 95 are from Mazatlán, 94 from Ahome, 90 from Culiacán, 28 from El Fuerte, 22 from Guasave, the rest of the municipalities report less than 18 cases.
