Horrific bus accident leaves 15 tourists dead and many injured from Acapulco to Puerto Vallarta

Furthermore, there are about thirty injured who were taken to different hospitals; the trip was Acapulco-Puerto Vallarta.

The death toll from the accident registered this morning at kilometer 37 of the Mexico-Toluca highway, in the State of Mexico, rose to 15.

Of the total, 13 died at the crash site and two more at the hospital, while the injured continue to receive medical care at different hospitals in the state.

The Health Institute of the State of Mexico (ISEM) reported that the Adolfo López Mateos Medical Center received five patients: three women and two men.

A 25-year-old woman who was admitted to this hospital unit died due to a severe head injury. The other four patients are being cared for by specialists in trauma and surgery.

At the Nicolás San Juan Hospital there are 10 injured, of which five are minors, and of them, two of 4 and 9 years old were reported as very serious, one of 14 very delicate, one of 9 delicate and one less than 5 years is stable

The other five are adults, three women and two men, who are reported in a delicate state of health, three of them have voluntary discharge.

Two minors were transferred to the Children’s Hospital, one unfortunately arrived without vital signs, and a 10-year-old boy with an injury to his right leg is being cared for, in addition to having cerebral palsy and his relatives are being sought.

At the Regional General Hospital 251 of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) they treat three people, a 47-year-old woman who is reported as serious, and two men, one of 20 years in a condition classified as very serious, and a minor of 14 years old, who is stable.

While in the Hospital General Regional 220 of the IMSS there is a patient.

Due to the seriousness of his condition, the patient received at the Hospital de la Zona Militar was transferred to the Central Military Hospital in Mexico City.
