Mazatlán, Sin. – For the last days of this month of July or at the beginning of August at the latest, the rehabilitation works of Rafael Buelna Avenue and Camarón Sábalo in Mazatlán will be ready, Juan de Dios Garay Velázquez announced.

The director of Public Works in the Municipality clarified that the two avenues can already circulate without any problem, but there are still some details to finish on sidewalks and at traffic lights, so one does not work.

“We are talking about that in this month those workers, Rafael Buelna, would practically be finished; Gutiérrez Nájera is also very advanced and the one that is a little less advanced are the collectors of the city center, there the advance is 60 percent at most, ”he indicated.

The local official said that in the Camarón Sábalo eight pumping stations are built along the avenue to avoid flooding in the rainy seasons, and that water will be sent directly to the sea.

“The construction of eight pumping stations has just started a week, or a week and a half, to alleviate the specific problems of flooding along Camarón Sábalo Avenue , that will be what will be done in different parts”

“… This construction will be fast, with the purpose of collecting rainwater, housing the pumping system and sending the water to the sea, ” he explained.

Garay Velázquez said that in the “Rafael Buelna”, as in other avenues, you cannot leave “U” turns, whoever wants to return will have to take an alternate street and rejoin the road.
