MAZATLÁN._ The Mazatlán FC team of the Liga MX Femenil is announcing what will be its structure for the 2020 Opening that starts on July 24.
On Thursday, June 18, Jessica Castañeda was officially announced by the club as the head coach of Mazatlan professional women’s soccer team.
“As part of the sports structure that Mazatlán FC has confirmed for our team, we report that Jessica Castañeda León joins our organization as head coach of women’s soccer,” the document read.
“Jessica is passionate about sports and an enthusiastic promoter of women’s soccer in our country. Her outstanding career with football and the media has allowed her to develop fundamental values for project management, with Mazatlan FC as her new challenge. Her arrival reaffirms our club’s commitment to women’s soccer and to the role of Mexican women in sports.”
