As a sign of gratitude and recognition to the doctors, nurses, and health workers, the Volunteer Fire Department of Mazatlán delivered 500 mouthguards to the IMSS and the General Hospital of Mazatlán.
With great enthusiasm, the firefighters made the sirens sound and then deliver the material to the health authorities.
Hospital managers, doctors, nurses and administrative staff came out to receive the medical equipment.
The firemen sounded the siren for approximately 20 seconds, while attendees and everyone there applauded the work of those who today have become real life heroes.
“We want to see positive numbers in those recovered and the call is for all citizens to stay home and abide by all the necessary health measures so that we can all overcome this situation together,” said Edgar Enrique Peinado Beltrán, Mazatlán Fire Commander.
The Mazatlan fire department carried out this well-deserved tribute to the health workers who have risked their lives for the people’s sake.
