Sinaloa.- With no specific date to resume tourist activities in Sinaloa, strategies are being devised to reactivate the industry, as soon as the health contingency ends.

Óscar Pérez Barros, Sinaloa State Secretary of Tourism, indicated that actions will be implemented to recover the influx of tourists as soon as possible.

“There are going to be strategies to recover economically before the end of the year, but it all depends on what is done today, ”said the Tourism Secretary.

The state official reiterated the invitation to stay at home, move as little as possible and only for what is essential, since the virus moves with people who sometimes do not know that they are infected and that’s how it is spread so fast.

He also stressed that it is during the months of April and May when the actions to be implemented will be decisive, and then we will know if the quarantine continues or not.

For this reason, it is important to follow the indications and make sure people stay away from beaches and public spaces.

During the Easter season, the State Government expected an economic spill of over 1.3 billion pesos, according to data from the same period last year.

However, measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Sinaloa left the figure at zero. Since the agreement was to prevent the influx of tourists for a period of two months.
