Alert with pennants presence of stingrays and marine currents in Mazatlan

The Mazatlan Aquatic Salvage Squadron alerts bathers to the presence of stingrays on some beaches of the destination. 
Gonzalo Magallanes, in charge of the group, reported that during this month the yellow and red pennants continue to be in beach resorts mainly. It is how visitors are alerted to that animal that is buried in the sand.

But it is not only that animal of water. In the area there are already underwater currents that become a risk, so they are also kept on the slope. 


In a communiqué issued by the City Council, it is established that “in that part of there suddenly the presence of manta ray is appreciated. Already a little bigger and not small as it is at the beginning of January, because they are already bigger, “said the experienced lifeguard. 


It was also said that “the marine currents are strong and extensive that go from the 100 meters of length of the shore to the sea”
