Families and groups of young people from various parts of the country want to say goodbye to 2018 by the sea and enjoy seafood-based dishes.

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The port is the best place to bid farewell to the year and welcome another, said Marisa Partida, who along with her husband, Samuel Moreno, and their three children vacation in this beach destination.

They traveled from Chihuahua to celebrate these parties without the cold and by the sea. The family arrived in the city on Friday and return on January 2 to their state. It is the third year that they come to Mazatlan. They say they like the environment because they can be calm, safe, and prices are accessible.

Enjoy the weather

But above all, they rest a little from the intense cold they suffer in their state these days.

As these visitors, there are thousands of various parts of the republic, although they predominate from the north. Most say they come from Durango, Zacatecas, Chihuahua, Coahuila, and Nuevo León.

During all day and even at night, the boardwalk remained saturated. Groups of young people and families toured Avenida Del Mar to take pictures and enjoy the sunset. Some prefer to walk or jog on the seashore.

Full

The managers of the hotels on Del Mar Avenue assure that they are full. The influx of visitors will remain until the end of the year. In this way, they close 2018 with a very good occupation.

In the golden zone, several hotels are maintained at 100 percent and others with good occupancy.

While most restaurants in the city are full. The packages were sold to local families, but especially for visitors who are going to celebrate the end of the year and the beginning of 2019 in this beach destination, stressed Javier Sánchez, in charge of a seafood restaurant.
