Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In a tour that took place at the point of sale of marine products known as “changueras”, a high price was observed in shrimp.

In these stalls that are on the street Aquiles Serdán a great variety of fish and seafood is offered to the delight of the Mazatlecos and those who visit the city, shrimp ladies even speak English, as one observed attending to an American tourist, who mentioned that I was looking for shrimp.

The large crustacean that is usually used for the preparation of dishes such as stuffed shrimp, is at 300 pesos per kilo.

While the smaller ones, usually used for the preparation of ceviche, a dish that can not be missed as an entrance during family gatherings or after a long and happy celebration, ranges between 100, 120 and 140 pesos per kilo. These prices are adjusted according to the quality and size that each merchant offers.
