Mazatlan achieves 1 million passengers before the end of the year

A new achievement joins the port of Mazatlan. At midday of this Friday, the first passenger in the history of the “Rafael Buelna” airport arrived, the one millionth passenger before the end of the year.

In previous years the figure was approaching but did not achieve this amount, it was until 2018 when the story changed. Laura Alcalde, originally from Guasave, Sinaloa was surprised with dozens of gifts given by different companies in the tourism sector such as travel agencies, airlines, restaurants, hotels, among others. The expected passenger said she felt excited to be the one who achieved this record in Mazatlan. Laura and her family were received and congratulated by the Secretary of Tourism in Sinaloa, Óscar Pérez Barros, who attributed this achievement to the work and improvements that have been made in the tourism sector. Lodging, flights, transportation, among other presents received Laura Mayor for being the 1 millionth passenger in the history of Mazatlan Airport.
