He recognized every member of the security force at all three levels of government, Civil Protection, lifeguards, and Municipal Services who worked tirelessly during these two weeks to ensure that hundreds of thousands of tourists could enjoy Mazatlán with peace of mind, as they never rest so that others can enjoy their experience.

“Mazatlán continues to be one of the strongest tourist destinations in the country. Now it’s up to us to maintain that level, to continue working on security, infrastructure, and services to positively improve all aspects of our city and honor these very positive results we had during the holiday season,” he continued.

“What’s next is for the following operation to be even better and find us better prepared.”

He also announced that a security operation was conducted during Motorcycle Week, the results of which were shared on social media. He emphasized that the priority for the municipality is to maintain a proactive and community-oriented approach to security.

“In that regard, I want to tell you that we were very attentive to any report, always acting responsibly. There were arrests; we were very active, and I thank all the colleagues who worked these past two weeks so that we could achieve these positive results for Mazatlán,” he reiterated after leaving the Regional Security and Peacebuilding Roundtable.

“What’s next for Mazatlán? I want to tell you that we will be very attentive during the upcoming seasons because we have a very important long weekend coming up at the beginning of May. We’ll be there right now, planning so that Mazatlán continues to do better and better.”
