To help strengthen operational security capabilities, Grupo ARHE donated equipment to the Mexican Navy (SEMAR) this Thursday in Mazatlán.

The donation consists of 18 BMW F800GS motorcycles, valued at 6,250,176 pesos; protective gear, drones, and anti-drone equipment; and 10 hectares of land in the Mazatlán Logistics Center, where SEMAR could build a Marine Infantry Brigade and Battalion, the latter valued at 280 million pesos.

Meanwhile, Paquetexpress donated a RO-RO/Passenger vessel, valued at 78 million pesos, to support transport in any emergency situation.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo ARHE, Juan José Arellano Hernández, stated that this donation strengthens the security of the city and unites efforts toward a prepared society.

He also took the opportunity to announce the “Golden Zone Tourist Oasis” project, a pilot program for which he has high expectations for its success and for strengthening security in the destination.

“If this pilot program works, then we will seek the support of other business owners to join this project, because security is everyone’s responsibility. I believe it is easier for us all to work together, to combine our efforts, than to act individually.”

For his part, Vice Admiral José Daniel Reséndiz Sandoval, commander of the Fourth Naval Region, received the donations and expressed his gratitude for the contribution, which is of great institutional importance as part of collaborative efforts in security and citizen protection in the city and port of Mazatlán.

“These actions, which are currently being implemented, reflect a responsible and committed vision for development, security, and social well-being, by directly strengthening the operational capabilities of the Mexican Navy in this region of the country,” he stated.

She added that the donation of 10 hectares located in the Mazatlán Logistics Center will allow for the construction of infrastructure for the Mexican Navy (SEMAR) to establish a brigade and an infantry battalion.

During her remarks, Mayor Estrella Palacios Domínguez mentioned that this type of donation from the private sector, specifically from Grupo ARHE, represents collaborative work with the government for a better city and a better country—an action of national importance.

“This donation of a ship, physical space, and equipment for the Mexican Navy represents a virtuous cycle of growth that will bring many benefits to Mazatlán, and on behalf of more than half a million Mazatlán residents, we extend our deepest gratitude to Grupo ARHE for their generosity,” she concluded.
