
From January to June of this year, the Mazatlán International Airport “Rafael Buelna” registered an increase of more than 155 thousand passengers compared to the same period in 2023.
According to statistics from the Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, OMA, in the first six months of the year there were 964 thousand 133 passengers, compared to 808 thousand 712 in the same period of the previous year.
The detailed information shows that of this amount, 733,760 traveled to national destinations, compared to 606,867 last year, and 230,373 were international flights, compared to 202,464 terminal passengers in 2023.
In January, 109,403 passengers arrived at the air terminal, in February 106,343, in March 123,569, in April 129,263, in May 134,030, and in June 131,152 passengers.
On international flights in January there were 47,053 travelers, in February 50,206, in March 56,688, in April 41,51, in May 19,165, and in June 15,747 passengers.

In June alone, the airport registered 146,899 travelers from national and international destinations, which represents an increase of 19,654 passengers compared to the same month in 2023, where there were 127,245 travelers.
Of this number, 131,152 passengers traveled to national destinations, while 15,747 passengers were on international flights, and it is expected that in July the traffic of national passengers will increase due to the summer vacation period.
