Joyful Alley Parade Held on the Eve of the Eclipse

On the eve of the total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8, thousands of people attended the emblematic Historic Center of Mazatlán tonight to enjoy the joyful alley parade with its Sinaloan culture and tradition.

Mazatlecos and visitors from different parts of the world enjoyed a parade full of cheer, fireworks, dance groups, drumming, and of course, the Sinaloan band.

The procession was led by the Mayor Edgar González Zatarain; the president of the Mazatlán DIF System, María Teresa Apodaca, as well as the Royal Court of the Carnival 2024 and NASA members.

The event began on Constitución street and ended in Liverpool alley, where the group Las Chelas made everyone dance and sing.
