MAZATLAN. – Don’t be caught off guard! This Wednesday, the works of the Los Horcones water treatment plant will stop, due to a large leak of drinking water, which represents the loss of 120 liters per second.

The mega-leak is in the 36-inch diameter pipe, which is one of the three conduction lines that come out of the Los Horcones Water Treatment Plant and supply the city with 1,850 liters per second.

It is expected that only the Miravalles Water Treatment Plant will be working for 8 hours, with a production of 500 liters per second, that is, the city will be receiving just under 30 percent of the water it normally receives.
