Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- During the second day of Carnival, 52 people were arrested and brought before the judge of Barandilla for disturbing public order.

For minor offenses, the Municipal Police arrested six people during the first day of Carnival and 65 tests were applied to the breathalyzer device, for which 24 people tested positive.

The SSPyTM also indicated that so far no fights have been reported and only three people have required attention from paramedics.

Prior to entering the different carnival areas, inspections of people are carried out to prevent those present from entering with some type of weapon; they are also prohibited from entering with ethylic drinks in glass bottles and aluminum cans; chewing gum, and cigarettes.
