MAZATLAN. – As we previously announced, the Mazatlan International Carnival 2023 in its 125th Anniversary edition brings surprises and one of them is the inclusion of a popular show called ‘Parade of lights over the sea’.
This February 17 at 7:00 p.m. the bay of the Zona Dorada and the boardwalk of our port will be illuminated.
What is it about? This parade consists of yachts being covered in their entirety with LED lights and paraded in order as if they were luminous floats typical of a Carnival parade.
The tour will start at Marina Mazatlán and will continue its course until it reaches the boardwalk.
This parade of lights over the sea is not new, in fact it is something that takes place in the Bay of San Carlos, Sonora.
This is an event that has become a tradition in the municipality of Guaymas, taking place for 25 years to the delight of thousands of families who come to various points along the route, on the boardwalk and on the beach.
This coming Friday the coronation of the Queen of the Floral Games will also take place at the Teodoro Mariscal stadium at 8:30 p.m. The artist Gloria Gaynor will be in charge of entertaining the show.
